Portugal Dreams

We visited Portugal 3 times so far. The history, the climate and the people were all beckoning us to return again. We learned that many people were retiring to Portugal and staring new lives and for good reason. The cost of living and the climate and the health care. On our 2nd and 3rd trips we started exploring to see where a good place to hang our hats could be and we found the perfect place on the Silver Coast, Figueira da Foz.

Figueira is a great beach village/ city on the Atlantic coast that enjoys a warm summer climate and winters that are very mild. Nadja discovered some properties that were for sale that fell within our price range and started organizing a scouting trip and lining up a realtor to show us some properties. We had some money leftover from the sale of our Canadian Duplex and so we traveled to FdF with the intention of buying something in themonth that we were there.
